Would be funny if they put a black dude there and still called him Aaron, just like black Jake from State Farm.

Would be funnier if they called black Jake Black Jack.

And eff State Farm.

hmm you mean to tell me he’s somehow less marketable playing in NY/NJ than fricking Green Bay??

While I get the general point you are trying to make, the Packers are one of those old, legendary franchises with an expansive national reach and following like the Steelers, Cowboys, Raiders, etc.

Moreso even than the NYC area based J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets.

Rodgers is past his prime. That’s why he’s playing for the J.E.T.S.

Who has a bigger, nationwide following? Jets, Giants, or Packers?

Packers by a large margin. Or at least used to be.

I have had USAA ever since I started driving and the rates have always been dirt cheap plus you get a dividend every year.

But lately they have gone all-in on the advertising and rates have shot up and dividend has been cut. I've heard there has been some blowback from members about this - they don't need to advertise - every swingin dick in the military knows all about USAA and running nonstop commercials with Gronk telling 90% of the country they aren't eligible is a stupid waste of money by a bunch of marketing idiots who want to participate in a creative circle jerk.

I knew a guy from Bloomington, IN and both his parents were State Farm executives. We were discussing the original “Jake” and he said that the decision to cut ties with him was he had gotten a DUI, and obviously, that doesn’t look good for an auto insurance company. This happened right around the time the AA Jake started showing up. Internet says that is now confirmed…baw threw it all away, but that was a helluva commercial

Overpriced insurance that doesn’t pay out when you finally need it to. Screw them.

A little off topic but why do insurance companies bother to advertise when they already have everyone in the country by the balls?

Because everyone in this country is either losing their balls, having them taken, or willingly giving them up, so State Farm is losing its grip.

Maybe Flo, Jake, and Aaron can start their own insurance company.

50% of the premiums go to advertising.
