This sounds like a trap, they lure the military in where their terrorist refugee employees lie in wait

But there not. See what great things they are doing now for our military mens's and women?

Im really confused....why would this make you want to boycott starbucks....their coffee isnt that great...but I thought this was a good thing by them.

Please enlighten me.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but whatever: the military preference is getting to be ridiculous. They should have to compete for jobs just like the rest of us.

.....what? They are being hired as baristas. Im sure in a competitive job market they are competing with everyone else out there.

All they do is check a box that says veteran like a Hispanic or Latino or African american or white guy says what race they are.

You're not paying $5 for a cup coffee.

You're $1 for a cup of coffee, $2 for the steamed milk and syrupy goodness, $0.50 for them to assemble the concoction, $0.50 in taxes, and $1 for the connivence of not having to wash dishes and shop for your stuff at a grocery store.

They'll have you converted gay by 2018, book it.

Also, they didn't put Jesus on their Christmas cup, they're basically Al Qaeda.

Don't care as long as their baristas aren't making 15 bucks an hour.

The Sumatra and Christmas blends are great.

Their common Pikes Place medium roast that they serve everyday is crap.

Their coffee is abysmal.

Scruffy does not shop there. Much better small coffee houses in Scruffy's hood.

I'm so confused. Why did the redneck posters in here make it sound like this is a USA hating liberal move?

Starbucks is making it a priority to give jobs to veterans

No clue.

It was a reversal from a previous stance they took. Scruffy is pretty sure they caught backlash for claiming they would hire only immigrants or something.

People were asking why they don't hire Americans first who need the jobs, such as veterans.

If everyone owned The Ninja coffee bar and bought good grounds Stabucks would be out of business.

or that they are ridiculously overpriced, or that the coffee fricking sucks.

I'll stick to paying $1.59 for a LARGE (frick a grande) coffee at the gas station.

It is $2.05 for the Grande(large) at the starbucks at my house.

If the $0.46 is so much for you that you get stale coffee that sits out, I will venmo you some money man

What did Starbucks do originally to anger the Trumpkins?

Also, their coffee is burnt shite.

I disagree. Their coffee is immediately at drinking temp when I get it, and taste fresh. Now McDonalds coffee, i have to wait 45 minutes before it is drinkable because they have that mother fricker at nuclear temperature

I didn't mean its too hot. I meant they over roast their beans and it tastes like charcoal.

It would be pretty interesting to have veterans and Muslims working together in a Starbucks. Only a matter of time before some Islamic frick ends up face down in a pool of mocha latte.
