the admins need to do a better job of keeping shite like this off the OT, and putting it where it belongs, on the PoliBoard...

way too much political shite been on here lately, and it's making the once great experience here on the OT, a dreaded one....

I have no idea. I've never watched the NWSL. Just learned of its existence a few days ago. Regardless, why is that relevant?

How difficult is it not to click on and read a thread? It's not like it's being forced onto you here.

Because I assume the answer is no.

Fans are okay with someone disrespecting the anthem but not someone who’s religious

She wasn't talented enough to compete at the highest stage. They just won the world cup again so I think they had the right roster.

Have you finally come out and admitted you actually are very progressive and do lean left?

Ok

Almost certainly there are fans that are. Assuming for the sake of argument the NWSL has fans.

Why is that relevant?

Lol what?

Didn't expect the "if disagree then return 'lib cuck'" line from you.

am i not clicking on it or am i reading it? i obviously can't do both... to read the thread you have to click on it....

i have no problem with people wanting to beat each other in a thread, wanting to call each other names, attempt "gotchas" all fricking day, etc... just do it on the appropriate board... the cesspool known as the PoliBoard

I just think it’s clear you lean left. Didn’t say there is anything wrong with that. But you defend one side far more than the other while pretending to be the moderate.

That doesn’t make you a “cuck”

My question is how hard is it for you to not click on a thread and read it? I leave dozens of threads unopened everyday because I don't want to discuss them.

You do realize you could have completely ignored this thread and it wouldn't have affected you in any way, correct?

Is this all you ask?
But I guess it isn’t

Just saying. One gets all the press and loved by everyone

Another doesn’t get picked for the team because of her religious beliefs

This board is, what, 80% conservative? There's only one place a true contrarian can go with those type of numbers.

That was my point.

Rapinoe has garnered more hate than whoever the girl in the op is.

This is an assumption. It may be true, but there is plenty of evidence that indicates she simply wasn't good enough.

Good for Hinkle for standing up for what is right.

By her coach and people trying to write compelling articles.

But guess what: everyone on that team is regarded as one of the best in the world.

Sonnet has been named to the best team in the same league Hinkle plays in. Hinkle as hot.

It’s like arguing that someone who has never made a first or second team All-NBA is the best in the world.

Maybe but arguably NO.

I haven’t seen it

The media has been all over Rapinoe and made her the face of the team

People calling her courageous etc

Meanwhile this fine girl is a good Christian and she’s kept from getting a job

You know you’re right

She’s still a great Christian though and I support her decision

This is a right leaning site. You don't see the topics I agree with because I don't typically post "this" or "yeah I agree" posts. It's not my nature.

I'm fairly consistent in calling out posts I believe are ridiculous on the right and the left. This being a right leaning site, there are far more instances of these ridiculous posts being right leaning. I have conservative and liberal views, sure. You just seem to ignore when I call out idiotic liberal takes on here because they aren't as numerous as conservatives.

Well, she is one of the team captains, won the Golden Boot for most goals scored in the WC, and won the MVP of the WC, so I think that's a normal thing for her to become the face of the team.

Carli Lloyd was the face of the team 4 years....and Rapinoe was on that team.

There have been threads all over this board about it. Plenty of memes on social media as well.

That's true. Her being the captain and leading goal scorer had something to do with it.

You got me. Good work.
