Or maybe the most qualified people who deserved those spots just happened to be white men?

Where was all this crying during all the years they chose all white men?

There was plenty.
It started with the #14 most qualified applicant.

Medical system is so fricked.

The quick deterioration of service is indicative.

The Medical field is approaching Spirit Arilines level of service and experience. It will get worse as more meritocracy decreases.

The fee for service health care system in this country is prime time typical, wasteful, selfish 'Merica.

The entire system is designed to reward those who utilize the system to the highest degree, regardless of the effectiveness of the outcome.

Now that’s the kind of diversity Nancy Pelosi likes to see.

One result of this hasn’t been stated. There is already a physician shortage in the country. It is being made worse by accepting a high number of females into residencies and medical schools. Many female doctors choose to work part-time or not at all, especially when they marry fellow doctors.

I would think that there was a relatively low interest from the white male medical students. No way in hell would I want to go to that type of program if I was interested in surgery. Not justifying it, just thinking that as a white guy, why would I want to spend five years being discriminated against because of my race/sex?

I mean, at some level it’s Stanford medical. They are all going to be very high achieving candidates. They aren’t pulling them from a beautician certificate program.

But because of how they assembled this, they get to be the national face of progressive administrations as opposed to just individuals reaching their dreams. Just a mess of a situation to create.

I read a recent statistic that stated 40% of female physicians are not practicing seven years after completing residency.

Society pays a price for this in more than one way. The work life expectancy of a female doctor is considerably shorter than that of her male counterpart. If society has an interest in medical treatment, and we are going to limit access to medical education, shouldn’t longevity be taken into account?

Probably why they're overcompensating to get the numbers up.
