The idea that a company would suppress the development of a preventative cancer drug is tin foil stuff as far as I'm concerned.
I tend to agree, but to be clear, the decision to release this is not in the hands of the company who delevops it, but the government, and by extension, lobbyists from the entirety of the pharmaceutical industry.

Again, they'll go outside of the US if need be. Rest assured, the researchers that find a cure or vaccine will not let the government stop this from getting to market. They will share the cure with others worldwide. This isn't an ongoing monthly treatment....it's an all out cure. This is the "holy grail" of all cures. Possibly the greatest discovery of mankind if it works.

1. The article is rather vague. It doesn’t specify what type of cancer they treated in the mice. Cancer is not a monolithic disease. Rather, it is hundreds of diseases which have different molecular and biological characteristics. Each one responds to different agents or treatments. If they are claiming this one vaccine will cure all cancers, well...let’s say I’m skeptical.
2. If a singular cure for cancer was ever discovered, it would most definitely be brought to market assuming it is safe. All the tin foil hat conspiracy theories around cancer cures are bullshite. Not only is there too much money to be made, the people who engage in cancer research are human beings who are, for the most part, humanitarians. That is, the reason they do their research is to benefit humanity. No way they let something like that disappear.

Thanks for that link. Saved me a little time. All I can say is WOW! I have seen enough of these miraculous treatments end up being no better than the existing treatments to get too excited just yet. But if this approach pans out in widespread use it would be a game changer. It could literally be the biggest medical advancement since the discovery of antibiotics. IF it pans out. And that’s a big if at this point. But this has huge potential to change what cancer means.

I think sadly most of us know that big government will keep the cure away so they can make big money just treating sick people. I am beyond convinced a cure like this is possible. I worked in research while at LSU.

For everyone saying this will probably never see the light of day, remember.
This is probably misleading in that not every type of cancer is the same and therefore will respond to the same type of treatment.
Also, there could be huge differences in how drug X works on mice and men.
