It's Stan fricking Lee, the guy who only really screwed Jack Kirby by (allegedly) screwing Roz.
He continues his existence with the eating the souls of fellow celebrities.

Marvel and DC and really any comic book company, is one part newspaper, one part magazine and eight parts insane asylum.
It's honestly a miracle if you can make it out with money.
Christopher Priest had a good story of how fricked marvel could be in the good times.
As the story goes, checks were taking awhile to come down to the editors to pass out to their staff. Priest sends a fellow editor to see what's taking so long. Meanwhile interns and low level staffers and artists start gathering at his office, like 10 of em. Total waiting around for their bosses to get the checks to pass out. One of the higher level editors walks by, sees a crowd of blacks and thinks to himself, "oh shite race mutiny." And pulls priest aside to find out their demands when the checks finally come down. Priests reaction was what the hell, they just felt more comfortable hanging around my office since day is over and were trying to find the hold up on their pay.
