I feel like the only two types of school superintendents in our state are popularest coaches and doctorest minorities.

STPSB has been a "revenue over results" organization, in my experience.

No wonder the divorce rate is so high.

How could you have no idea what your wife makes?

Does she know how much you make?

Have you never bought a house together, applied for a mortgage etc? seems hard to hide even if you wanted to for some weird reason.

Yep, we have bought two houses together. To be honest with you I can't tell you exactly what I made last year. I know that sounds crazy, but I would have to go look at my tax return to tell you.

So does this mean the teachers that are part of the union will be on strike come January (when the CBA ends) if nothing is agreed upon?

Link? So we know what to avoid?

Bi means two. I have a bimonthly pest control contract. They treat my house every other month.

Semi means half. Semimonthly means you get paid each half-month or twice a month

There are not many full-time jobs out there where you get a 1/3 of the year off

Its not like teachers are raking in the cash. They are mostly <$50k a year. Not many full-time jobs these days pay less than that. I'd say their pay is appropriate for having 3 months off a year

Something better happen quick. I have never spent so much on red wine. Also, I have four new holes in my walls that my wife refers to as jabia 1-4.

Football coach at Slidell high no less. Not exactly a bastion of higher learning.

I remember when he was the football coach there so it's CRAZY that someone made him superintendent.

The genuflecting for any Louisiana public school system, including St Tammany, is amazing.

Make whatever sacrifice you have to, but send your kids to private school if you live in Louisiana.
