It’s easy to bash on teachers. Holidays. Summer. What a dream job. They have it easy. Easier than the rest of us, working our 40 and going home.
I’m married to one. Public. St. Tammany. They haven’t had a raise in a LONG time. And while I’ve seen the, horrible, atrocious threads about teachers who are doing bad things, there are 1000 more who are doing the right thing. Pay em. I get raises. So should they.

Something better happen quick. I have never spent so much on red wine. Also, I have four new holes in my walls that my wife refers to as jabia 1-4.

A little clarity on all this.
Teachers are paid in St. Tammany every two weeks all throughout the year, pretty much like every other government official.
Unlike other government employees, such as my wife who has been teaching in the parish for more than ten years, they haven’t gotten a raise in as long. That’s a pretty big problem as of late. That’s why this union deal failing is such a big deal, and a huge slap in the face of all the people who take of our children all day

Heads on a swivel baws!

Almost got hit by a guy on a four wheeler being pursued by Covington police on pinnacle parkway. Heads on a swivel out there bass!

From the onset of this tragedy, I have only prayed that our lost ones did not suffer. Covington family, please keep on praying for our people, our community, and really everyone that we find grace and strength in these horrible times. God bless everyone!!
