I vaguely remember commercials for a show about a transgender kid named jazz several years ago. one of the first mainstream pieces of content about trans (kids). i assume it's the same person.
eta: yep i was right. "i am jazz" premiered on TLC in 2015.

Yep they read activist newsletters, know when to show up at the right time and get their pre-printed signs.
This is most likely funded by gubment money shoveled over to community groups, hidden away in spending bills.

All of the signs are about trusting librarians but what kind of book wouldn't be allowed by a librarian?

That’s the vocal minority we always seem to hear from the most.

Idiot. You’re not even talking about the right board or system

What ought to happen is someone should just rent the books and never turn em in/lose them in a tragic boating accident.
I wonder if they have a Mr. Bookman that will come out and collect on overdue or missing books.
Nah, he was out to stop the smut in books.

If I'm reading the tweet thread correctly, they voted to place graphic novels (for teens and adults) behind a desk but voted to keep LGBTQ Children's books out on the shelves?

I’ve seen your type before…flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention.

How many of them are actual residents of St. Tammany and not Orleans?

The issue is not trust of their librarians.

Yea, you should have to show ID to be allowed into these public meetings. I don't give a frick what groomy mcgroomer from NOLA thinks about how my community should be run.

What a grotesque looking group of people. It's like an AI generated a picture from a prompt of "make a photo of transgender supporting activists at a library"

Just remember these folks are why that animal was out of jail to murder two innocent people in covington.

Board member Susie Tosso, a former teacher, expressed concern about limiting patron's ability to browse the graphic novels, adding that graphic novels are some of the only books many teens read.
Id like to hear her explain this.
