Have you ever had an abscessed tooth? You really can't see why the dentist is more important than a nail salon?

Not a chance these places stay closed or are not working side hustle with the amount of cars I’ve seen on the road. That’s a low blow from Cooper. He’s lost my vote next time around. Was optimistic he’d be better than Brister. She was a rino.

Hoping my girl can drive over and cut my hair at my house soon. And, by “cut my hair,” I mean “cut my hair.” Sorry, pervs!

Sorry if I missed it, but when are Mandeville High students authorized to resume their rifling-through-cars and causing-fatal-accidents activities?

love how the make this seem out of character. St. Tammany is the 5th largest Parish in the state.

Wonder why they haven't been hit as hard being a fricking retirement community. My guess is that the old people are out and about in the sun and they don't live on top of eachother.

This could be considered urgent and would have been allowed during the shutdown

Tell that to the folks who’s bleeding money from their hair salon because some bureaucrats decided they’re not important enough to make a paycheck.

Government picking winners and losers is tyranny. Plain and simple.

It’s going to be real great when Chevron, LLOG, Pool Corp, Textron and the like move out of the parish to other states. At least we’ll have those outdated 1/2 full strip malls left.

Agreed.

For 1200 cases we are going to keep it shut down mostly. Terrible move. I wont be voting for Mike Cooper for the next election. Yes, on this one issue he loses my vote my wifes vote and anyone else I can convince. Honor code puppet

Deaths/Million People

St. John the Baptist: 1610
Orleans: 1110
Jefferson: 800
Caddo: 445
St. Tammany: 422
East Baton Rouge: 311

St. Tammany highest CFR in the state (9%, tied with St. John). The White/Black ratio also isn't as skewed as it is for other parishes, so it looks like it may be hitting the retired folks up here.

I would like to see how many cases we've missed. 0.5% of population is confirmed, so if the IFR was 0.5% we'd be at 10% of the population infected.

It's surprising to me that EBR hasn't eclipsed us yet on deaths/million. Again, this may mean there's enough retired folks here that the ghetto hasn't come back around to pass us yet.
