If the leak is correct and the DA has 12 witnesses who corroborate the officers story, there is no way they get a true bill out of the grand jury.
Im thinking the same. I wont name call... but from what evidince has been presented so far it would take a person/persons with an "agenda" to justify charging Wilson.

I'm still on the fence... The critical evidence is second hand as of now.
However, if there is no true bill, the protestors are going to be screaming to know who is on the grand jury and claim that it was all a setup by the authorities.

Totally disagree with you. The locals were going to run with the unarmed black teenager (who was about to go to college) being shot unjustly by white officer in broad daylight in middle of the street as he walked to grandma's house...whether the cops put out their version or not right away.
Just go to the first post in this thread and read the initial article on this story...

All that. Trayvon 2.0.

they only voted for him because he is black
What an incredibly ridiculous statement. Statistics probably show that few voted at all. The turnout in the last election was around 12 percent I believe. I guess it's easier to just make assumptions about people, though, and even if they did vote for President Obama, unless you've spoken to them and conducted exit polls, you don't know why they voted for him. A much more plausible reason is that black people tend to vote for democrats.

What are the criteria for the grand jusy to move forward with trial proceedings? 12 jurrors? Unanimous decision? Majority decision?

Only if they're able to find probable cause for a crime committed by a "criminal suspect". Taken with a grain of salt, of course. It's always up for debate, and with the media glorifying it the way they have, they're probably going to try to find some BS to prosecute

You disagree that the people who are in favor of charging don't have an agenda? Do you think that these people have used logic and deductive reasoning skills to form their objective, unbiased opinion that Wilson should be charged?

I didn't say turnout for the last presidential election. I said TURNOUT FOR THE LAST ELECTION.

CNN is still trying to stir shite up even this morning. Saying "Zimmerman got off with murder" and now "MB's mom joins a small group of women who've had their black unarmed sons murdered by police."

I would disagree with based on the evidence presented so far. I don't know about obtaining a conviction but there's probably enough there now to charge. Now, if you are including 12 witnesses supporting the cop's version within your evidence presented so far even though we haven't heard their statements, then I'd agree with you.

The "agenda" is to create racial division in hopes to leading to something else...

IF the cop's story is true, FPD could have defused the situation too with an initial simple release to the media that a "Ferguson police officer was involved in a fatal shooting with a robbery suspect." Didn't have to be accusatory and wouldn't have been seen as smearing if it were immediate. Would have kept the out of towners away and the anger levels would have subsided quicker.
I agree it was very poor and the guy seems to pretty much suck... BUT, I can kinda see why he was scared to say anything early on. You can tell from the videos and the accusations at the crime scene immediately following the shooting (which you and bass have stated) how strong the hate is for cops there. And this started blowing up overnight so I think he was of misstepping and then it just got ugly. And thats still no excuse for the end result.

As for the protesters is that, at least as far as the State charges go, the grand jury is likely to be made up of old, white people.
