Has anyone else heard this about a bullet entering the back of the head? If true, does this mean the was justified?
Any shot to the back facing of the subject is bad for the cop - but not dispostive - again - there are 2 broad possibilities of what happened.
Either there was a scuffle/pursuit/charge/shooting (our best guess of the officer's version) - or a confrontation/surrender/execution (best guess of the Brown family's version). The truth may closely align to one of those poles, or be, somewhat in the middle.
In a violent struggle between 2 persons - bullets just end up lots of places. All the shot placement/trajectory will do is roughly align the target to the muzzle at the instant that round was fired - the rest will have to be reconstructed from other evidence.

The point I was unsuccessfully trying to make is that the witness statements have all been consistent and align with the autopsy results.
They absolutely do not align. Saying he was shot in the back (which they said) does not align. Saying the cop stood over and unloaded his clip (which was said and provided by you this AM) does not fit.
The twitter witness saying he was shot twice in the back and then 5 times frontward does not fit.
None of that aligns. Not at all.
And that is before we get into the fact that to be shooting Michael 6 times with his arms up surrendering and still managing to hit that arm 4 times would mean the cop was missing wildly (yet accurately) in hitting an arm up in the air before to head shots.
How can you argue that aligns?!?

One of the bullets entered the back of his head and came out through his eye, another -- likely the fatal wound, Baden said -- struck Brown on the top of his head and caused irreparable damage to his brain.
Now if this was not complete and utter fiction, I would be convinced based off of that in favor of MB.
Of course it is made up shite parroted by the mainstream media.

CNN has corroborated the "Friend" of Darren Wilson's account... Someone within the investigation verified that her story matches the official account

No, but if you come at me again yes. According to some that's exactly what happened and MB had the size advantage.
And if that is established (or, heck, for criminal purposes, if it is just plausible enough to raise reasonable doubt) - the cop walks.
That's all I'm saying.

This is a ridiculous hypothetical.
No it isn't. 4 cops tased an 8-year old girl some time back. That is ridiculous.

Every shot will have to be analyzed - when you shoot someone who is unarmed, the burden has to be on the shooter to justify every shot.
I've got no police training, but the firearms training I have received says to fire until the threat is eliminated or your ammunition is gone. While the situation may change during the shooting, six rounds don't take long to get off if you're trained. While I get your point, the situation is easy to really analyze with plenty of time, in a real time situation I don't imagine it will matter much what the goal of each shot was, since the goal was to eliminate the threat.
If there were two instances of shooting (for example, four shots, a break, and three more) there will need to be a deep analysis.

Can someone help me understand why the Gov called off the curfew?

This thread wouldn't even be 200 pages if that happened.

Look at the autopsy pic. It shows 1 into eye, out of jaw and into neck. One in top of head just shows an entry point and it is in top of head.
MOST of shots look like they were part of sequence to me. They line up like he was firing quickly repetitively.

I have a sick kid and shitty cell service so I'm having a hard time getting into spirited debates on the many scenarios of what could have happened. From what I've seen from all sides so far, I feel the cop may have been justified in shooting but maybe made the wrong decision in trying to make an arrest on his own

I think that is the broad self-defense standard - but "threat is eliminated" doesn't necessarily mean dead. You cannot, for example, deliver a coup de grâce to a still living, yet incapacitated assailant, no matter how justified you were in firing, initially.

@SLIKK_DARKO the first two was, the next 5 werent, he turned around
In the spirit of the current race to twist the autopsy results into supporting certain witnesses, recall our twitter witness that tweeted last night the autopsy was right in line with what he saw and he never said MB was shot in the back:
Apparently shot 7 times, twice from behind before turning it not to be constituted as meaning he was shot in the back.
the twister is amazing.

The threat is eliminated when the person doesnt pose a threat any longer.
The point is that firing six shots rapidly doesnt take but two seconds.
