So how did he know the guy robbed the store?

I don't think the family is going to like what Baden is saying... "St Louis county pathologist is very capable and I don't expect any issues with her autopsy"
They've seen dead bodies before....they've probably seen a dozen with GSWs since the beginning of the month. I'm sure they are more than capable....and certainly more so than a lawyer.

Who are you going to believe? Some crackpot, biased scientist? Or an officer of the court?

"Back to front" no less.

All I'm pointing out is that he also could have been lunging at the officer as the friend of the officer said and the guy on the video tape said.
I admit I haven't see all 5,000 pages but how far apart were the officer and MB?

Why do you hope anything? Rooting interest in the outcome. The tox and everything else will play itself out in time.
What I would like to see is crime scene photographs. What may answer some questions as to whether or not he was charging is whether or not there is a trail of blood. From what Baden is saying, MB would have been hit before the final, head down charge towards the officer. If that's the case, I would suspect there will be blood behind where MB came to rest. May show us how far, or if, MB charged the officer.

We don't know... Brown was ultimately 35ft away from the cop car at the end.
The officer likely ran after, so officer could have been within a few feet.

We don't know. MB was 35 feet from the car when he fell over and died.

Family is calling for the initial autopsy to be released, but you know as soon as that is released, if it contradicts or does any damage to their case, the protestors will scream that the DA did this to try to silence their results.

And we'll probably never know.

Who is claiming shot in back of head? Baden said all shots from the front, right?

I've not followed this thread. But has it been brought up that a lady claiming to be this cop's BF's wife called into a radio show and gave what she says was the cop's account of what happened?
quote:
No. Do you have a link?
No, I just heard the interview she gave to some radio station in MO replayed by my local radio station.
Basically what she said was (and I'm going off memory here so I may mess up some detail) that the cop was confronting this teen about walking down the middle of the street when he got the call about the strong-arm robbery. The called fit the description of the teen, including the fact he had these cigars in his hand. At that point he got out of his cruiser and that's when the teen rushed him shoved him back into his car and went after his gun. At some point during this struggle the gun went off (I'm not sure if anyone was hit by this shot but I don't think they were). When the gun went off the teen bolted and started to run. At this point the cop got out and went to pursue (standard SOP from what she said) and told the teen to "halt". When he did this the teen turned and charged at him. That's when the cop began firing. According to her the teen kept coming even after being hit a number of times and only stopped when the final shot hit him in the forehead at a range of only a few feet.

Crump said all kinds of shite this morning. Said the autopsy corroborates all the witnesses. Something about "back to front."

Everybody should hope that this kid was hopped up on shite and may help prove the officer is justified in shooting. The alternative means the officers actions may not be legal and then you have an officer that could e determined to have committed murder.
So, what would you root for? A justified shooting or an officer commuting murder?

Sounds like bullshite.

This is getting to be some sick, media-fueled $hit right here.

I want the kid to be alive and in custody. But, that's too much to ask.
In the alternative, as this still pretends to be America - I want the truth to come out and justice to be served. Truth and justice shouldn't have a "side" (ETA: or a color), right?
