I don't believe that the COP is purposely acting solely to poke and rile up those people. More than likely, he's doing what he believes will defend is department, as misguided as it might be. I'm guessing that's his reasoning. I don't truly think he's sitting back, poking and riling up just for shits and giggles.

They didn't last night and they won't because they know police will shoot them before the step two feet in the neighborhood. They're not as stupid as some of you think
I posted earlier there were patrol cars at Wal-Mart. The police appear to be fine with looting and rioting as long as it's contained to a specific area. I expect that any efforts to I beyond their boundaries will be met with the full force of the law

They had some other problems. Which is an interesting analogy to this. If I view someone as "the other," I'm less likely to identify with their plight and concerns. So when I see a dirty hippy getting dragged by police, I am predisposed to think "dirty hippy." And I suppose to many here, when they see a kid with dreadlocks getting dragged by police, they may have a similar reaction with different words. I still think that in this case, overall, that would be enough to give them a "win."

A normal response to seeing the video would be: "damn, there is more to this story than we thought, it makes sense that a guy getting confronted by police after robbing a store may jump the cop and force the cop to shoot him, more sense than a cop shooting a man on his knees with his hands up"

The thugs come out after dark to cause trouble.
And yes, I agree, the protestors don't want the truth and won't accept the truth. They just want to hear what they have made up in their heads.
