You seem to keep missing the part that me personally don't condone the rioting or looting.
ohh no, i purposely glossed over that because i had no debate at all with you regarding that.

I'm just attempting to get you to discredit yourself when it comes to lumping entities together such as all police and all black people.
You are doing a great job.

To be fair, the looting and rioting likely would have happened without the riot squad there as well.

Maybe, maybe not. Did it happen Saturday?

And no doubt about a bunch of thugs there. Some really good people but no question thugs as well.

he couldn't possibly be profiting off race baiting or acting as a race pimp for financial gain

I don't understand him.. literally when he talks he sounds like he knows nothing. They could've found a better attorney in any city in the US.

I'm not the one lumping them all together. I am acknowledging that others(the people in Ferguson) would do that. And if you know that they're going to lump all of LE together, then maybe showing a military like presence wasn't the smartest thing to do. Maybe they could assemble all of that show of force without it being in the faces of the Brown family and supporters.

I can guarantee you that there are 100 better attorneys in St. Louis alone.

2. The cops who just shot the kid showing up in force in riot gear to the peaceful portion of the vigil.

Wish those who made those 2 decisions had thought better of it.

you're saying you wish, which means you think they did something wrong.

This is an interesting situation. There is a growing chorus of folks in the US, even conservatives, who probably find police abuse to be a serious problem. You would think that would be good news to the black community.

But, folks like Sharpton are going to make this a white-black issue, obviously ignoring the barrage of black community crime (including black on white crime) since the last race-bait opportunity. People like me are going to be annoyed at it, and tune out. Opportunity lost?

I pictured them more of a Cafe Napoli type crowd. Regardless, if they're coming, spend tons of money while you're here.

I'm not arguing anything about the kid getting shot, cause we just don't know what happened.

But what these "people" did last night was sick and stupid, and reeks of uneducated outrage.

I can't see how this shooting is justified. I'm sure someone will correct me but here goes:

*The black kid did something but was unarmed (no rape, attempted murder or kidnapping)
*The cop supposedly tried to get out of his car but the kid did something (let's say assault of some kind)
*The kid may have tried to get the cops gun but DIDN'T
*The cop shoots the kid from 35' away.

Not seeing justification here.

Yeah I don't doubt for a second that some cop possibly did something extremely stupid and unjustly shot a kid. Where it loses me is when those involved with the kid try to make it an indictment on all white people. The looting certainly doesn't help either

Yes, I think those who organized the vigil and those who organized the response to the vigil could have done things differently and this could have been avoided. Those actually attending the vigil (the Browns, not the TPOS) and those in the line (actual cops, not the politician behind the desk) didn't do something wrong. Just my opinion. We disagree. It's cool.

Oh I agree, and the idiots will arrive, CNN will run 4 episodes of "Being Black in America" and white people will bristle at it because white on black violence is rare while the opposite is less rare, but only the former provokes outrage.

Meanwhile, a national conversation about what is going on with police may be lost so that we can continue to talk about the exceptionally rare "epidemic" of white on black violence in America.
