I don't see a both sides. I see three sides. The cops and violent protesters I agree. I only add a third because I think there's a clear second group of protesters that have done things right for the most part. I'm pretty sure the last couple of nights there have been peaceful protests at the police station. For all I know they've been there every night but all I ever see, for obvious reasons, are the protesters that are in conflict with the cops. I think that subsect of protesters, from what I have seen, have done things the right way, whether I agree or disagree with the underlying message.

Is it just me, or does it seem like with every police incident, we are inching closer and closer to full on bloodshed on both sides?

because your very first sentence claiming him to be a black child was inaccurate.
I'm guessing you can't read or comprehend you know since i quoted and responded to that and all.

I think this whole deal is dying down. I think it may ramp back up once a name or picture is talked about, maybe. People get tired of doing things and I think the police dept is just waiting them out. Each night the crowd seems to get smaller and smaller as protesting/riots go.
Now if something were to happen like a shot fired into a crowd and someone gets killed, then I do see this blowing up big.

Are you saying the 17 year teenager wasn't black?

Another change. The sovereign immunity statutes need to be re-written. Personally, I think they should be taken off the book completely. If a cop can arrest you on trumped up charges knowing that they will be dismissed but in the meantime you have to suffer the indignity of being cuffed, searched, spending the night in jail and so on, then they can certainly be subject to civil suits and if they are bogus they will also eventually be dismissed just like the charges were. If they have to suffer the indignity and financial burden of a lawsuit, so be it if it also allows meritorious claims to be presented.

My problem is how the message is being delivered. They really should allow only the educated people to talk. Because once the ignorant ones start screaming it looks bad.

You know he wasn't 17,you know i was not saying that and you still won't face the question that you called an 18 year old man a "child" to sensationalize your New Black Panther Party story.
So frick off.

Still hasn't released his name, won't release the autopsy and the family only recently got the body back.
Recently got the body back? What a farcical charge. And I find it hilarious that someone with a SN like yours is concerned with racial tones.
Is there a racial element to this? Sure. But we don't really know to what degree it is relevant, especially for the shooting.

No question. Cops are acting with impunity. People are getting more and more pissed and lashing back with more impunity.
Last night, you have a complete show of force blocking off the street. One guy throws a bottle and the cops unload on the other 99% of the crowd. Now tell me what happens when there is one crazy lunatic from Los Angeles that decides that that police line is an easy target and that one murderer starts shooting the cops holding their line. Money says we see people murdered by the dozens in response, just gunned down.

He was 18. And the source is the news. I haven't seen a single press report with any other age.

This I agree with. Giving anyone a complete "get out of jail free card" is bullshite.
Repeat after me.....personal responsibility!!

He has been reported to be 17, 18, and 19. How in the frick hard is it to get his age right from the beginning? I see this happen all the time. I still don't know what age he is

There is not a single white conservative "patriot" gun activist in America that is talking about the second amendment right that Mike Brown had to bear arms to protect himself from a tyrannical government.
No shite dumbass, because no one denied him his right, he chose to not do that and that has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. You've lost all credibility in less than 10 post. Congrats

Some areas of lower income are more invasive than others. I found St. Louis and Memphis to be some of the worst.
