@PLeiaPrinSass Thanks! I made it through a second time. Confirmed @AntonioFrench in #Ferguson jail on "24 hours hold."
Told you they were arresting people for no reason. That's why no charges. Never were any. Never were gonna be any. Though I'm also wondering if French asked to be hauled in as a publicity stint.

When will the protesters get tired? Tomorrow? Friday?
The protesters seriously will settle down once the cops back down.

I've called the #Ferguson jail and asked for the immediate release of @AntonioFrench and @TefPoe. No Bond Yet Set.
There is no bond because there are no charges. He's spending the night. Or middle of the night release with no cameras around.

Yep.
The presence of military style equipment at a peaceful protest, then the cops demanding that they leave, is what led to the shite tonight.
The bottle and cocktail weren't thrown until the cops began to give orders to the crowd. That was the response to those orders.

The weekend may slow it down.
Doubt it. 1 week vigils. More opportunity for people from Chicago to get here on a weekend. No, I see this going through the weekend unless someone gets the military under control.

the bottle was only thrown after the police instructed them to stand back 25 ft.

I didn't even realize I said tank but I think I'll continue to type tank. Mainly because I'm lazy and armored vehicle is just way too many letters.

So is there an organized riot right now or just a bunch of isolated crimes/protests?

but would most of these young cops have grown up during the Bush administration's run?
Kids at that age didn't know Bush, torture, or anything else on that level. They just wanted pussy and dope.

This view doesn't seem biased at all.
"If the police would just let us sit in the street peacefully, we wouldn't resort to throwing molotov cocktails and bottles."
What kind of thinking is that?
You're protesting police brutality. What greater opportunity to paint the police in a bad light than to peacefully protest in the street and then on the sidewalk while the police look like they're invading Fallujah? Nope, the protesters couldn't pass up the chance to be an idiot and throw things at them.
Bottom line, the protesters were "winning" the public over until they physically fought the police.

Where do you live?
From what I understood the protesters and police had worked out a compromise on where the protest would take place. The police asked the protesters to go to the agreed upon location (not in the middle of the street). Wouldn't people intending to protest peacefully keep their end of the deal and not block an intersection? To me that is showing hostility not peace.
When the bottle was thrown the only order the pice were giving the protesters was to keep 25 ft back from them.

Probably more isolated crimes/rioting in the area. It will die off almost completely in an hour or 2. You'll start seeing more and more posts are about things that happen outside of Ferguson then. Then we'll go to sleep. Some of us will wake up in the morning and debate whether it's racism or abuse of authority, but we'll unite mid afternoon for press conferences and vigils before we turn on the countdown clock for 7:00 tomorrow night when the first protests begin and watch the sun go down together to officially kick off fire works.
Rinse and repeat.

Based upon some admittedly third hand twitter stuff, it was basically one dude.
