In a weird way, yes... Had they had a few officers like the elder officers there, talking with the protesters and keeping things calm, things likely wouldn't have escalated like they did.

But when you roll up and throw your dick on the table, you're going to quickly attract the ones you are attempting to avoid.

With all the shite going down the last couple days, they are on a short leash, and rightfully so. DWI

You aren't the first.

And the way it keeps happening, I doubt you'll be the last.

Given the history these people have shown of not being reasonably peaceful yeah it was warranted.

Dude, you're bipolar... YOU even made a comment when they rolled up to the effect of "wow, I don't even know which side to back now"

Its using the same logic that you applied, and it is the logic they are using in their protest.

Are the protestors going up to each individual cop and accusing them of being mike brown's killer? Because if not it's not even close to the same., and you're being completely intellectually dishonest.

Investigators, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation and need to protect evidence, remained mum on whether a gun was found at the scene of the Monday night shooting at a 7-Eleven store at 2102 S. State St. Police also would not discuss conflicting witness reports that Dillon Delbert Taylor, 20, appeared to have reached toward his waistband during the confrontation.

South Salt Lake police, who are investigating the shooting, said Salt Lake City police were answering a 911 call reporting a man there was waving a handgun; Dillon Taylor purportedly matched the description of the armed man.

Sounds like the police MAY have been totally justified in this case.

Regardless, I wonder if Sharpton and his ilk will show up in Salt Lake City to protest this white cop shooting a 20 year-old white man?

Will Obama and Holder investigate this case?
