Don't you think they may have been protesting the police presence that was standing in front of them in the street?

Protest all you want. When it starts impacting other people's lives, that's when I take issue with it.

So don't break a bottle or any property. That's not peaceful.

Yeah. We do things different in St. Louis. Jaywalk? We kill you. Stay out at night? We tear gas you. Break a bottle? We'll shoot ya.

To be clear, they're asking them to move to the sidewalk on a street the cops have blocked off.

Clearly Arson is an officer discretion type crime.

Because the original agreement was for them to stay til 5:30, then they let them stay in the street til 6..

By agreement you mean order from the police. No one agreed to it. The police decrees that protests be over at 6.

You should probably try to know what you're talking about before arguing about it.

I know exactly what I am discussing. Sorry I don't have a heightened sense of entitlement like you. You think you are so cool because you are compiling info in this thread and everyone should think you are the authority on the situation

Still doesn't make sense. If they blocked it off for their protest, why do the people have to get on the sidewalk.
