And if he didn't qualify, what's next?
CHS can't take everyone.
CHS can't take everyone.

John B Edwards is NOT King George III. He does NOT have more power than a humongous gathering of educated individuals.
Gravy can stay fat in BR. He cannot have it both ways. Biscuit head wants "white people" to do everything on his frickd up agenda. We ar done with EBRPSS...and no it will NOT hurt St. George. Did it hurt Zachary and Central? How about Denham, Live Oak, and Walker?
It is what it is but we didn't start the fire. This city is failing because of animalistic behavior and an absolute shitt show of leadership. And I mean an absolute one.

I love diversity but I'm tired of living in EBR and dropping thousands of dollars a year on private school.
Letting Tasha Clark Amar and Silky Slim's bankroll come out the citizens of Baton Rouge's pockets and not mine... well that's just a nice, added bonus.

Question about the orange boundary that extends north along the amite river just past Florida Blvd. Does this boundary allow for future annexations if St. George becomes a city? In example the subdivisions that surround O’Neal and Millerville.

Are you referring to competentcy levels? It seems like we have a lot of incompetent people in city government that isn't balanced out by competent individuals

We have got a glimpse of the waste and corruption.
Look at Amar and despite what she did she is still in charge of a publicly funded agency with a 9 million dollar revenue stream.
We saw how a councilman helped his buddy get a sweet deal on some public land.
We see how the mayor parceled out small contracts to rappers, community organizers and friends with no big repercussions.
We see judges running and winning election by promising to go easy on the bad guys.
It begs the question, what is going on in the other agencies?
Could SG keep tax dollars closer to home where it wasn't so diluted and where things could be watched better? SG needs to show they could do better. This is their chance.

If your kid went to one of the catholic elementaries, which will accept just about anyone, and isn't retarded, he'll get into Catholic. They aren't rejecting people. That school keeps getting bigger.
People have this belief that you have to be special to get accepted to the catholic schools. You simply have to pay them the tuition they are asking for, and they will let you in. They are always looking for more money.
i didn't go to catholic elementary schools because my folks couldn't afford it, and even with straight A's on my record and a parish priest in my family they had to beg my way into CHS. this way a loooong time ago, so maybe its changed

Yes, but the same people that had spend our tax dollars are the same people who help let the COA tax get on the ballot, who let them slide with campaign irregularities and who let them collect the full amount of their tax when it was demonstrated how corrupt they were.

What do you think of the current state of affairs of the city/parish government?
Could be a lot better.

Do you think that is trending upward or downward. Where will the city/parish be in 20 years?
It is not really moving much right now. As bad as SWB wants to be, she really doesn't do much. Could easily go either way with the next mayor.

I don't blame people at all for deciding that there is a better way for their tax money to be spent than the status quo.
There are certainly better ways to spend money. The only argument put forward for St George is "We have to do something different". It's the kind of lazy, wishful-thinking that got us where we are today.

When and where do I sign?

I’m all about St. George. But just to clarify, the Council on Aging is unfortunately an East Baton Rouge Parish thing. So we’ll still pay that tax.
Miss Laurel yet?
