That flyer is for one 30min demo from 2:45-3:15 on the Sunday of the festival. Nothing about it on the actual website and everything on the website actually makes it look like a great festival

Well, that’s a well defined list of businesses to avoid like the plague. Thanks for sharing.

Buy a ticket and show up as a man wearing a dress. Tell anyone that asks that you identify as a woman despite your full beard and other indications you’re a man. If they give you any friction, tell them they don’t get to define what a drag queen looks like.

The only thing I could see happening is if they sponsored the food portion and weren't told that a bunch of trannies were going to try to indoctrinate kids

This absolutely has to be the case. A business wouldn’t be that stupid, would they?

I bet a group from St. Francisville putting on a cooking demo at a NOLA food festival while also having a group trying to convert gays to straight folk would have a very welcome reception

There are a bunch of L and G in saint francisville. There are also a bunch of people who get the attention of black people by yelling "hey black guy"

It is a weird place but for most part everyone leaves each other alone to live their life.

I can't imagine that will be well received in St Francisville
Some TV network that has a show about drag queens did a live show in Ruston. They did it here because they knew they'd stir sh*t up. Their people interviewed some Ruston people about it, and got mixed reactions about it. I would imagine they played that stuff and talked about how intolerant some of us are. The locals that were planning to go probably hooked up with their dream "Girl".

The local news also interviewed local people about it and also got mixed reactions. It was as big as the Cedar Creek hazing story for a month. I'm sure my mom's Sunday school class, and the retired teachers talked about it that month.

Imagine being stupid enough to think that a 21+ food and wine event will have little kids there, or that the email was sent with only Poppy Tooker on it. Good luck going to New Orleans, you'll get your feelings hurt on every street corner.

That's because the flyer came from a PR person of Poppy, not the people who run the site or made the email

Yeah, this is a 21+ event with the focus being on food and alcohol, kids aren't expected to be there. I imagine they'd have a terrible time if they were there.

Considering they tell you what they're making in the picture, this...just isn't even a joke. It's a poor attempt at one that doesn't work.

Looks like the chefs are Lorio and Dickie Brennan. It's advertised as a drag brunch, so I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised about the drag queens.

It’s hard to believe this clown shite would be allowed to go down in St. Francisville.

Place has been overrun with fruitcake liberals the past 15 years

First sign was forced integration of the school dances. And no, that’s not sarcasm.
