My trouble making cat took care of that problem when I first moved in my house.
She was like a radar focused on going in the attic.
I was putting in new rolled insulation and she climbed up the ladder.
Next thing I know I see a cats tail and her walking back toward with attic ladder with a squirrel in her mouth half alive.

Then I put insect mesh behind the gable vents.

What kind of house has holes big enough for squirrels to get into the attic?

Do you ever walk around your house and look for fricky things that need to be fixed? Try it. Might prevent fricky things from happening.

You live in a hunting camp? You squatting in a crack house?

I had squirrels in my attic and talked to the guys at Pest Stop. They sold me granulated fox urine. Just sprinkle a little in your attic where they are, and they leave. Then fix your hole. Used the same process in my camp. They left.

Having the same issues. It sounded like a basketball game going on up there today. I haven’t found point of entry. Ready to call an exterminator. How much is that going to cost me?

Put your dog up in the attic, dogs love chasing squirrels.

Then once he has ran off the squirrels, go and start vacuuming your attic. Dogs are terrified of vacuum cleaner noises.

Once your dog runs down, keep vacuuming until you finish sucking up all the squirrel and possibly dog poo that's up there.

Kick back and enjoy your squirrel and turd free attic.

Get a tube squirrel trap. Bloody, but effective.

Correct. They pee pheromones also. Once it is closed of they will still try to go back up there anyway they can find they follow that smell. They will be able to smell that for a very long time. Also squirrels and rats don’t co-habitate ever. It is one or the other.

I actually used Billy the Exterminator method.

Jif peanut butter in a critter trap. Caught it in about 3 hours.

I asked our exterminator about relocation. He said if they have a nest and babies they can come back from 30 miles. He then recalled our house. “You have a pool, right?”
