I tried traps but only got one. Researched, found some dude on yt who got ALL of them out with a guitar amp and high pitched notes on full blast. I have a bullhorn that’s got a siren mode and it’s loud as hell, did the trick.
Whatever you do, make it quick they are burrowing in for the winter. They’re destructive. I hate squirrels. Ruin shite in your attic, steal sandwiches out of your golf cart.. they’re little assholes

Yes. And those little suckers eat my air condition wires. The way to stop it is to find and plug the holes they crawl in.

If you live trap them, keep in mind you have to take them several miles away from your house. I used to take them to my office and them go in the parking deck. I figured if they could make it back 26 miles in Atlanta traffic, we'd have a civil discussion about living arrangements.
You can also poison them. With some poisons, they will die in your house and it will stink up some rooms for a few days or so. With others, it will make them thirsty and they will go outside and die. The problem with this is that another animal, like your dog, could then eat them and be poisoned too.
If you can blast them with a shotgun as they come out, that will work too. Destructive little bastards.

My old house squirrels that would get in my attic sometimes. They weren’t always there so I just left them alone. They would leave me acorns in the box for my Christmas tree.

Small animal trap/cafe. Loaded with pops cereal

Had a squirrel getting into our attic and we out a box trap up there and then forgot about it for 3 or 4 days.
I can tell you a squirrel rotting in heat like that in the middle of the summer stinks like all hell.
Had either a rat or squirrel get under my car last week and chewed on some wires.
$2200 worth of damage. I hate those little frickers

Find opening. Place steel wool in hole

Had the flying squirrels. They suck. I tried to use a live trap and they just get out. So I bought the big spring mouse traps and baited with peanut butter. Killed 20 of them in about 3 weeks.
I had to screw the traps down to the floor. The first one that got caught took my trap off
Those are some active bastards at 3am

Locate the hole they are getting in through. wait till a decent sunny day & then close it up around noon as they will likely be out.
Hope you don’t have dead squirrels in a week

Large rat trap with peanut butter.
That's it. Then plug the hole.

Find where they are entering and screw a square of thick gage chicken wire over the hole so it only opens out like a one way flap door.
I don’t condone spraying anything in your attic if you have family that might be sensitive but smells can run them out and they wont be able to get back in.
Patch the hole after you are sure they are all out.

Let a dozen or so Rattlesnakes loose in your attic.

Just a tidbit of info....in most insurance policies...home damage by squirrels is not covered. (They are considered rodents.) However....if a racoon tears your shite up...then most insurance will cover damage. (They are varmints, not rodents). So, if your attic or something gets fricked up by squirrels......you may want to make darn sure those aren't racoons instead of squirrels.... Do with this what you will.
