10 years ago, yeah.

Classic ropers are the style now.

My Ariats are square-toed but I like round-toed boots just as well.

Question, are the Ariats made in the CCP?

I'm wondering why this wasn't even an option in the OP's post.

Before my knees started falling apart, I was an avid "Roach Killer" wearer.

I only wear square toe. I used to be a round toe but once I went to square I never saw a reason to go back.

This especially with safety toe boots. I wore square toe composites for years until I switched to Red Wing King Toes. The toe box is pretty huge though. It helps to have the room.

It’s about comfort, not fashion.

I wear round toe myself, but my brother couldn't get a toe pointy enough.

Square toe vs Round toe (boots)

One of each.

Square toe boots are out of style and are as unsightly as those awful fishing shirts with the literal NETTING along the back.

There's a warm wind blowing through the laundry mat
There's a young man cryin' in a cowboy hat
He got square toed boots so he ain't for real
Wouldn't last five minutes on a pedal steel
