Are you really using spotify to listen to anti-lockdown or pro-lockdown playlists?

While the article is straight propaganda and dog shite, this seems to have actually happened. But hey Spotify is a private company and it's available elsewhere

Own your music. Buy directly from the artist if you have to.

There are plenty. Stop being melodramatic over a song from an artists who probably beats his meat to QAnon threads

Irrelevant, but not a surprising deflection.

The song has less than 5k listens on youtube in 3 months. He probably reported/removed it himself and is using this to as a publicity stunt

Just listened to the first 3 minutes and i could barely understand what he was saying personally

Good job missing or ignoring the larger issue.

Translation: I disagree with the guy's politics so censoring him is ok.

I never said it was, I actually disagree with it but this is a private company not wanting this song on their platform. It isn't the government censoring people

Fairly positive I've seen you piss and moan about the admins here targeting you for your political views...

Its pretty clear im not bothered by it. Why should I be? This isnt censorship. This is a dude getting a song taken off spotify cuz he broke their terms of service for hosting his music. They even left the rest of his stuff alone

That's all well and good if they apply the rules across the board. You know as well as I do that isn't the case.

I made a joke about potentially getting a ban because of my posts on PT but I can't be sure of any of it hence why I joked about it. It's just a message board

This whole idea that, because the government isn't censoring things then we shouldn't worry about it, is completely ridiculous. What we've seen from big tech the past few years are the beginning stages of a technocratic fascist state, where big government and big corporations ally and collude to deprive individuals of their liberties without any actual recourse.

Will Spotify censor lyrics that contain highly offensive words, like this particular one that starts with an n, and celebrate gun violence and mistreatment of women?
