Another company choosing Mississippi over Louisiana.

I guess people will get to enjoy the Buc-ee’s en route to this resort.

can you blame them?

if you were spending multimillions to build a resort, would you ever consider doing it in this crooked arse state run by idiots?

MS Gulf Coast has east access to beaches.

LA has access to beaches by helicopter.

What's a SI resort? Is that where the fat models do their shoots?

Don't you think SI has taken that into consideration? They are after all building a resort in Orlando and the Dominican Republic.

This will be a huge attraction along the Gulf Coast an will pump millions in tax revenue into Mississippi.

A lot of shitting on Mississippi in this thread, but MS has been doing WAY better than LA in the last few years.

Why would someone want to build a mega-resort on the coast of Louisiana?

Serious question. Louisiana's coast is more south than Louisiana's and the Mississippi River pours into the GOM. Which part of the GOM would you rather go in? I'd rather stay as for away from the water coming out the Mississippi River as possible. And I would rather it be by the clearest water as possible.

If I could find a job that is comparable to mine close to the coast, I would be leaving tomorrow.

If you're from Orleans Parish and decide to move to the Coast, remember this: don't vote over here like you do over there.

The Coast is a great place.
