Sorry man. Statute of limitations is 20 years for this. They're coming after you now. Should have waited till next year to come clean.

My wife and I came close to it once at The Publick House in Columbia, but that was simply because the waitress' service was so terrible. It took her forever to get our drinks and take our order, it came out relatively cold so it had probably been waiting a while, and after waiting about 30 minutes after we had finished eating and asking for the check twice, I was getting out of the booth to leave when she brought the check, finally. They weren't overly busy and we noticed she spent most of the time in the back of the restraunt listening to music on her phone. It was the only time in my life that I have left "$0.00" for the tip. It was pretty infuriating, especially because we like the place so much.

I'm assuming the place closed immediately after, cause if it really "haunted" you, you would have gone by and dropped off some cash, or, maybe mailed some?

Went to a pizza buffet with a roommate in college. You paid on the way out.

The roommate says I'm gone and slipped out through the crowd. I got in line and paid for mine.

He had plenty of money. I never understood why he would risk so much for so little.

Years ago at shoney's (not far from Murrell's). Late night of drinking with my buddy. Walked to the counter to pay and waited for minutes on someone to collect. No one came to get the money so we quickly left.

Over 20 years ago I ordered 5 pounds of crawfish and a beer at some tourist place in NOLA. When the bill came it was almost $100. I put $30 on the table and walked out. They tried to rob me and I was a poor college kid. Fuccum

I did it for the first time this past V-day.

Made reservations at this nice place in Athens, got in our seats at 8:30, it's V-day so we're expecting a long wait.

We order a bottle of wine and an appetizer, place our order. App comes out fast, we place our order for the entree.

45 minutes later, our waitress tells me they don't have what I ordered anymore. I was buzzed so I was like w/e thats cool.

Its 10:00 now and still no food...my gf was trying to get me to dine and dash, I said no.

Then I see a couple that had came in after us, and had no reservations, get up from their table with a doggie box and leave the restaurant.

WTF

So I said frick it, lets go. Felt bad about the wine and app, but that shite pissed me off.

Once, by mistake. I was a regular so I went back and settled up when I realized it.

When I was a freshman in college (20 years ago), our waiter refused to serve my table alcohol. In my head he was such a prick about it too, but more likely I was just angry he wouldn't serve me my drink.

We were there for dinner, and we were obviously underage. But this was a restaurant that became a late night hangout for college students.

So the waiter was smart and included the tip in the bill (not surprising as we were a table of 10). We simply paid the amount of the bill and excluded the tip. He tried to block us on our way out because we were "stealing."

I did once. We went to Outback cause I wanted a blooming onion. It took us 45 minutes to get a blooming onion. Our food arrives probably another 45 minutes later and is cold and looks like shite. We asked for a manager, for the second time and waiting another 10 minutes and he never showed up so we bolted.

Sophomore in hs me and 2 buddies did it at the hooters on seigan because one of them was so pissed the waitress spilled a drink on him. I was the driver and pulled into the parking lot next door before they came out and watched them run around in a panic

Yes I feel bad about it looking back and would never do it again

Dining and dashing in 1967 and in 2017 are not the same thing. Same with streaking. Same with panty raids. Dining and dashing was once a cultural phenomenon, and a rite of passage and now it's different.

Just once at a hole in wall poboy place in downtown NOLA. Ordered a HOT poboy that came out like they had just taken it out of the freezer. Also had cold gravy. Brought my food back up to say I wanted it warm, toasted an with hot gravy. Said sorry and they would fix it. 20 min later they call me back up an give me the same subway style cold bullshite. You paid at a specific station before leaving so I walked up and told them I wasn't satisfied and didn't get what a ordered so I wasn't paying. Only ate a couple bites and notified I wasn't paying so don't know if it's considered dine and dashing

I went out with a girl once who wanted to dash just for the fun of it. I didnt want to. She pretty much pleaded with me before she walked out. I stayed and payed the bill, and found her by the car. We didnt have sex.

This is when you slap a couple 20s down when shes walking out so she doesn't see and you follow then walk quickly to the car
