Baseball cards and sci-fi/fantasy books, Later on when I was old enough to drive to the arcade I spent a ton of quarters on video games and pinball.

Young kid - saved up those nickels and quarters for candy and coke at the neighborhood store.

A little older - fishing gear mostly, and maybe a cap or shirt or sneakers if I saw something special I wanted.

I’m a boomer.I spent most of my money on pellets for my Benjamin pump rifle,.22 bullets,shotgun shells,fishing lures and fireworks.We lived outside city limits so could engage in all these outdoor activities.
