Reasonable question but there have been far more Christian's going around evangelizing than gays waving rainbow flags.
Probably because there are far more Christians than gays. But, if you travel to where they are common, there are more gays flying flags and letting it hang out than Christians in their areas where they're more common.

You do realize that Christians are supposed to go out and look for folks who aren't Christians, right? It's one of the fundamental teachings. Church isn't really for those that are saved. It's for the folks that aren't. My preacher just pointed that out to us yesterday.

So Christians being taught to be annoying and pushy makes it ok. Got it

I live in a liberal city in a liberal county.
Christian churches have crosses out front.
Liberal churches have rainbows with the cross out front.
I have never seen a private house with a cross but I see tons of houses with rainbow flags.
Working in a public school daily we have announcements for the Gay straight alliance club. Librarians all have rainbows on and many stickers are on the doors of the school for various classrooms.
The newspapers generally cover LGBTQ issues at a much higher rate than is needed.

Just dont go to church and dont watch Sunday services and you dont get Christian influence. Meanwhile the LGBTQ influence seems to be everywhere.

Christians doing it right should be trying to evangelize you with gospel .... not even touching on LGBTQ issues. They would be doing this for you, not themselves.

LGBTQ is over represented in culture. That is what people on this site would be complaining about. And it is all about self celebration and you must join in or be ostracized from culture.

And telemarketers are supposed to sell, does not mean I wish to speak to either group and only one of them comes to knock on my door on a regular basis and leaves little propeganda booklets if I am not home or dont answer.

Just because your little sci fi club wants you to do something does not mean it should be done.

I had to call on a CVS in a business capacity one time.

The 60s something year old assistant manager literally introduced himself with, "Hi, I'm Walter and I'm gay."

I really didn't know what to say. I didn't know if he was hitting on me or what. He wasn't

I had to call on them several more times. I got to know him well. He was a great person.

Turns out he was married for 40 years and always hid that he was gay. He said he always knew, but never once cheated on his wife.

He had about 4 grown kids and was worried about coming out to them. Ex in laws forced his hand by threatening to tell them. He beat them to the punch and told his kids. Said that after his children know, he didn't care anymore. They were the only ones that mattered and they all took it in stride.

As far as religion goes? No one shoves religion in your face like an atheist shoving their religion of non-belief on everyone else.

It's ok for other people to shove my beliefs in folks faces but not ok for other people to shove their beliefs in my face.

Had a random dude on campus walk up to me one afternoon while leaving one of the Engineering buildings and asked me if I was gay. He prefaced it with "Quick question man, but don't get mad when I ask you". I was slightly shakened up for about a week, constantly wondering if I was giving off some sort of gay vibe.

Despite what you see on TV, Christians outnumber homosexuals by a landslide, so I would imagine you would run into a lot more Christians on a daily basis, which would make this scenario plausible.

I would ignore both.
