Legit Cajun, as in the actual people, are genetically short.
That is why many great jockeys were Cajuns.
Coonass is just a moniker for south LA people which is basically the LA version of redneck.

Yes but a lot of South Louisiana people aren't coonasses. I'm right around 6'3" and I'm shorter than my dad and paternal grandfather.

Dr. Scruffy is wrong this time . There are legit Cajuns that are tall. Both sides of my family are legit and both sides the men are 5'10" and above. My self I'm 6'4.
With that said they are many short Napoleonic Complex mo fos around here.
Plus , Scruffy is wrong again when he commenta about Coonasses. You aren't a coonass unless you're Cajun. If you're not Cajun then you're revered to as intruder or invader not a Coonass at all. Scruffy needs to stick to medicine or take some.

I’m 6’4 flat footed and my height comes from the Cajun side of the family. Everyone on my moms side is short.

Yep. Go down to Fouchon and tell me how many of those long term natives are 6'+. Most of them are 5'6". I bet they sell 50 pair of Cajun reeboks in size 8 to every size 12.

My little girl is 5'5" now. She probably won't reach ELT proportions. She's about to be looking down on my wife now though. I do not look forward to the HS years.
