I'm about a mm under 5'10" and I say I'm 5'10". So crucify me.

I always claim an inch shorter than I really am.

Not really, I will say technically I'm 5'7" 1/2 but I always just round that up to 5'8".

Last time I went to the doctors with my wife, she told the nurse that she was 5' 1/2". I busted out laughing and even the nurse did too! Like they have a place on the paper work to add a 1/2".

Men lie about their height more often than not, in my experience.
Women lie about their weight more often than not. So I guess there's that.

I had a dyslexic girlfriend who was 5'5".
She was always getting the two numbers mixed up.
Men lie about another height probably more often than the one that goes on their Driver's License.

Yeah. I also hate the height 6'1". I think I'm that height, but I always just say 6ft bc if someone says 6'1", it sounds like they're trying way too hard.

This is incredibly ridiculous.

if there was an award for lying about your height, I am pretty sure Tom Cruise would win it... the man wears 9 inch shoes in every movie to appear taller than he is.

I do. I'm skinny, so 5'11" 165 lbs sounds better than 6' 165. Not even sure why.
168 today, woot.

Thanks for fricking up the gene pool.

None. No need to. I've been honest about it sucking at my height. Now I see people all the time claiming to be my height and they're full of shite and I have people who think I'm taller and shorter than I am but if they think I'm shorter, they always accuse me of lying

Yep. I'm also 5'9". Like, actually 5'9". Not "I'm 5'7" so I'll just round up to 5'9"" 5'9". Some people call me short, some have called me tall (tall is a head scratcher). It's like people are either way shorter or way taller than me, rarely the same height.
I do have a friend who is at least 5'11" who insists we are the same height. He claims to be 5'10" but he's probably closer to 6', and I'm probably closer to 5'8" than 5'10" anyways.

Yeah, I'm 5-5 and I usually tell people I'm around 6-1
