Spin-off Thread: Where did you go on your honeymoon?

I guess once you ask a girl to prom, then you propose, next up is the honeymoon...
The wife and I took a road trip. We were given a 3 day, 2 night stay at Blackberry Farm as part of our wedding present, and so we planned the trip around that. First we drove to Asheville and stayed at the Biltmore. Asheville, as a lot of you are aware, was a pretty cool city with amazing food options for 2 foodies such as we are, and the Biltmore was beautiful. Then we drove up to Tennessee for B.F., which was just about the most relaxing place I've ever been too.
We knew it wasn't the "traditional" Bahamas trip that the majority of our friends take, but we love road trips and got to explore a part of the country we've never driven through. We also discovered that if you tell the front desk of a resort that you are on your honeymoon, chances are bottles of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries are sent up to your room...

7 nights at all-inclusive Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. This was after 5 nights on Pensacola Beach for our destination wedding with 80 family and closest friends.

Went to San Franciso for the week. We had a great time and we love the city. So much to do, see, and eat.
Went all over the city as well as Sausilito, Myrr Woods, and rented a car and drove to Sonoma for the day.

London for 4 days, Florence for 3, Positano for 3, Rome for 4.

Just took our honeymoon last month- 2 1/2 weeks in New Zealand. It was insanely awesome.

Your trip seems about perfect.
We were on the younger side and hadn't really started making much money and def. didn't appreciate good food/drink etc when we married in 96. Ended up going to Disney because a friend gave us a 4 night stay.
We did get two nights at the Hyatt downtown before leaving for Disney.
I would love to go to Blackberry Farm. Kind of starting to plan an Ashville trip since I like the beer and cool local restaurant scene that I read so much about in that area.

cayman islands it was nice until she lost my grandmothers ring. don't try to rent a metal detector there. found it the next day just by pure chance.
