I have probably a couple dozen now on my phone. I can't delete them. Particularly my parents who passed away last year.

Something about the actual act of deliberately erasing someone who meant so much to me in life seems wrong.

I'm not sure I'll ever delete them. They follow me from phone to phone.

My wife (no pics) still has her dad's phone number and location on Find My Friends. The FMF part I find odd but she still keeps his number. It's not for me but I'm not in her shoes, so I won't know what that's like until that happens to me.

I’ll delete at the end of the funeral as part of the process. No reason to waste memory that’s no longer needed.

I do. My way of coping I suppose. I remove them from social media as well.

my parents' phone number hasn't changed since the 1960s and even though i memorized it when i was 7 years old, i could never bring myself to erase it or their photo.

No. It’s out of laziness. I also have lots of friends maiden names in my phone for the same reason.

Nope and even if it was accidentally deleted there is no chance that I will ever forget my grandparent's phone number.

My Mom and Dad's contact info is there and their birthdays are still in my calendar. Dad's was yesterday. Miss them both, terribly.

No. I still have a number of deceased friends and family in my phone.

I've had a fairly unusual number of childhood friends/acquaintances pass away relatively young.

I could see maybe removing them from a contacts list, but whenever friends or family pass, I don't think I could delete their Facebook pages, which have essentially become photo albums of memories over the years.

Yes but it took me awhile to delete my daughters phone and my sisters phone.
