Speaking of 9/11, how many people used it as an opportunity to disappear?

And start a new life?

Only 1600 or so remains have been identified out of around 2800 missing. Posts on anon boards have implied that some people just walked away from their lives and families.

I used to be a hedge fund manager with a Manhatten Penthouse. Too much pressure though. I'm much happier living in Baton Rouge and posting on Tigerdroppings all day.

Can we really be sure that 9/11 even happened?

Can jet fuel melt human remains?

Yall hear about the first divorce?

After the 2nd plane hits a woman calls her husband who works in the WTC.

He answers and she asks if he is alright. To which he responds, "of course im in my office."

It was discovered he was in bed with another woman.

They'd have to be married to Sklyer x2000 to watch a plane hit their place of business and have their first thought be to use it as an opportunity to "start over."

And develop criminal contacts to gain a fake identity as well.

And ignore that even the worst divorce division would be cheaper.

Seems like something you would have had to arrange beforehand...

9/11 was filmed on a green screen in Hollywood. We never landed on the World Trade Center. Flags don't wave in jet fuel. #staywoke

Good point.

Maybe the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by a bunch of dudes who worked in the World Trade Center and wanted to assume new identities? And now they're living with Tupac and Biggie on a remote tropical island.

I heard a rumor there were a few flyers pinned up in the towers with CIA letterhead giving directions on how to switch identities before a national disaster.

Something like two months before the planes hit.

I dated a girl once who was in a play about two WTC workers who were having an affair and were banging in a hotel room on 9/11.

It was pretty interesting.

When I was working in GA we had a case where some woman filed a report claiming her husband had a business meeting in the WTC on 9/11 and she hadn't heard from him since.

Investigators were suspicious that someone from a trailer park in central Georgia would have a "business meeting" in the WTC, so they paid her a visit. When they knocked on the door of the double wide, guess who answered it? Yep, ol' husband Cletus, alive and well, standing there in his pajamas, soon to be accessorized with handcuffs.

Is that really something you could do? You'd have to have a bunch of cash before hand since any activity would show you were still alive

You would have to have planned for something like 9/11 to happen and ready to live of cash for years after.

Weagle is an idiot. I'm not exactly sure how people on message boards claim to know about these so called "missing" people but insurance companies and families are clueless

Pre-911 it was easier to obtain a fake ID.

Go to a random town and look in the graveyard for dead children who were born in a similar year, public records were a little different.

Obtain a copy of birth certificate, go to another state and find where an address can be used. House that has been foreclosed. Say you have just moved, get your ID.

Or something drastic, could have said you were just visiting the city that day. Two massive buildings came down in the most populated American city.

Eta

put your own picture and old name on a wall for the missing. Someone wrote down all those names.

And if you want to get drastic, cut off a finger and leave it to be collected.
