Damn it, man. Is that red rocket, just SW of Senegal going to wreck my vacation to St Pierre and Miquelon?

Will someone still be able to get to Disney for a Halloween party? Asking for a friend.

So what happens when insurers no longer insure homes on the golf coast? Will there be a mass exodus?

Wouldn't be a hurricane season without a frick you in October which seems to be a theme the past few years.

Bob Breck just said in his blog that the north Gulf Coast is closed to Hurricanes this year.

The 2 swirls I see are an upper low NE of the Islands and a disorganized complex of clouds well east of Barbados. Models try to develop the southern system in the Caribbean, but if anything forms, it will be forced to stay far to the south and into central America. By then, our next front will be here blocking the disturbance from moving northward. I think we're done with the hurricane season along the northern Gulf Coast as these cold fronts have brought water temps down from the mid-upper 80s into the lower 70s. If we do get a late October storm in the Gulf, it's more likely to be turned to our east as the upper flow increases from the west. For now, enjoy what we have as I'm going fishing the next couple of days. Stay tuned!

Too many cold fronts now. The Northern Gulf Coast is closed until next season.

NW gulf is almost definitely closed. But I agree, the high pressure covers the gulf coast at this point and I think this is a CA storm.

Flying BTR to Denver 11 days from now. Should I make other plans?
Check out the creepy murals in the Denver airport if you haven't seen them before.
