Falcon Heavy... currently SpaceX's most powerful rocket (until Starship & booster overtakes it) composing of 3 Falcon 9 boosters... launches this morning for the 1st time in 3 years sending satellites into space for the US Space Force
launch set for 8:41 AM central and conditions are not great right now at Kennedy Space Center for viewing... lots of fog
NASASpaceflight on YouTube
SpaceX on YouTube (will start streaming around 8:30 AM)
ETA: if I remember correctly... the 2 side boosters will land on droneships but the center booster will be expended into the sea

everytime those rockets land, it blows my mind. incredible engineering.

are they going to launch with this fog?

Interesting (Not) that the US GOV doesnt want Space X to show the payload

making a small correction... the 2 side boosters will land back at Kennedy Space Center
the center core will not be salvaged when it's done due to the flight profile... it will either burn up in the atmosphere or land in the ocean

yes... fog doesn't matter for a launch

For them to not recover means something much more expensive is inside of it currently

the 2 side boosters are back at KSC

UnReal.. That landing was amazing to watch.
If I was in my 20s again, I would major in something that got me a job at SpaceX.

Still blows my mind.
Rockets coming down from above the atmosphere and just landing on Earth

Boosters landing still looks like CGI

Awesome to watch. Thanks for starting the thread as I would have missed watching it live otherwise.
