No reason to. It absolutely sucks but the reality is 16 years ago we saw what will happen and this is set up worse. It’s going to get bad and you should absolutely prepare for the worst.
Police are stretched thin with limited man power. Less flooding means more area to loot. Covid has people ancy and angry, etc

Unlike Katrina, people had time to prepare. There wasn't a levee that broke leaving people looking for high land having people stuck in the city under a really bad situation.
