I’ve met a few and watched some on YouTube. I don’t know if it’s just me but everyone of them sound like they have too much saliva in their mouth or a mouth full of water when they talk.

I met an auditor at the jefferson county courthouse last winter, had a 5 min conversation and he seemed like an odd but cool dude. Found his cannel on YouTube and needless to say the jefco sheriff's didn't give a frick about his right to film.

Most in this thread seem to be referencing the traditional sovereign citizens as you describe.
When I saw the OP I agreed with the poster you are replying to. Most modern sovereign citizens are the brain raped Redditard shitlib types who post videos to YouTube of them acting like little counts when they drive through the Border Patrol checkpoints screaming about muh rights and "am I being detained".
I haven't heard or seen any news about the militia type sovereign citizens in a decade or more.

Not entirely sure what my aunt and uncle consider themselves, but they invited us to what we assumed was her birthday party and when we got there it was like a regional meeting of their little sovereign citizen group. They even had a flag and everything. They were talking about burning their drivers licenses and forfeiting passports/ss cards, not paying taxes, etc. I laughed in one of the guys faces and then my wife quickly made us leave. So story in short, I'm probably on a FBI domestic terror watchlist because my fricking estranged aunt and her loser husband tricked our family into attending her birthday party.

Had one come to my store and until I was checking her purchase out - everything seemed normal. Then she informed me she didn't have to pay taxes so I asked for her business tax ID form (the only time we ever did any tax free purchases).
She proceeds to give me her ID and I thought it was a joke. I asked her for the business name and she told me she was a sovereign citizen. What was even weirder was (I worked for a corporation) is that she knew how to have the discount input on the computer system. I believe she said she knew a manager and that she always received discounts but who knows.
Long story short I refused and got forced into giving her the tax free purchase eventually anyways after she called corporate and they called me telling me to just do it anyways. All over about $4 in tax savings.

I have a couple relatives who believe in the crap. Funny how the rely on the system when in need but cry about sovereign rights when they are subjected to taxes. Who the f*** do they think pays for their handouts/subsidies? Mindboggling.

I find it hilarious when they get pulled over and start spouting all the BS about being a traveler... It's like they just got out of the Sovereign Citizens workshop... The ones that really piss me off are the squatters.. Just get the hell out of my house.. This crap needs to end...

I went down a YT Reddit hole one day watching their interactions with police. They are the dumbest humans on earth. They love telling cops I’m not driving I’m traveling. They immediately ask for a supervisor. 99.9% of the time they end up in cuffs. No insurance, no DL and no vehicle registration. A lot or Moorish Science Temple followers. Brainwashed moonbats.

Met one in Wisconsin on our way to a fishing trip in Ontario. He kept going on about suing the government to get back his bodily autonomy or some such shite and to opt out of the corporation / revoke his birth certificate or some such process. But then he said it wasn’t about not paying taxes and that everyone has to pay taxes - which totally confused me because then I was like well what’s the point.
More recently have seen some posts online about taxes being optional and voluntary, but you can’t file, once you file you have opted in or something.
