NWS Slidell is without power or hunkering down. Latest tornado warning was issued by Mobile.

NWS Mobile has taken over for NWS New Orleans...the Slidell office is either out of power or had to take cover

Yes and it appeared to me to skip NOLA a decent bit and hit the northshore and above.
However, it is slowly darkening again where I am at.
