The squall line approaching Memphis is one of the weirdest I've seen on radar. The smarter guys in here can probably explain the dynamics of what's happening way better than me but it's like the heavy winds including the gradient winds in front are so strong it's squeezing the band of heavy rain into the narrowest band possible

Been a minute since I heard wind howl outside my window

Those discrete cells forming in south ms are going to be a problem.
Right about the time they get to Bassfield and Laurel

The greatest tornado threat consists of 85% of the tornado watch area, guys.

I have a flight departing from SC tomorrow at 7 a.m. heading to Florida. Forecast is saying it's not supposed to fully hit here until 11 a.m. Fingers crossed it stays on that schedule or slower.

It's ok, this is the OT and though some of us have a college education, most of it has been forgotten and nobody's expected to use it

Power just flickered off for a few seconds for me near LSU. That almost never happens, guess it’s something to do with the gusts.

The worst of it just passed over about ten minutes ago where I am. It stopped raining and the Sun is peeking out at times. Winds are calm and its still a bit cool. We got several inches of rain, but I think a 6:30p game time is doable.
