You would think that since we had so many hurricanes and it was 85 degrees until thanksgiving the weather gods would give us a break but no! We got a humid arse muggy Christmas and now are getting more hot weather with severe summer time thunderstorms in December!

It’s the opposite of a Christmas miracle.

Thanks Legend for putting work ITT and keeping us posted. Sorry I was mean to you over a year ago in that Gretchen Whitmer thread. No hard feelings.

or even if you are inside a TV studio... WAFB's Government St studio just took a power hit. Took them down for a minute or two.

It is bumpy right now on Dauphin Island

Weird to have such bad weather like this in December. This is usually a March-April type of storm system.

Action Jackson just decided to warn everything.

Did Steve Caparotta say the line should be near I-55 around 8:00?

Well. Power just went out. Didn't even seem like it was that bad

spent many weekends in my childhood fishing off the old Dauphin Island pier - and then when it got wiped out, off the beach where it used to be.
man those were some great times. be safe down that way

It's a warning, so that means somewhere nearby there IS a tornado, or one has been indicated on radar.

Probably some rotation or a very small tornado near me in SEBR just now. I doubt it was on the ground.
Heard some whistling over the TV all of our exterior doors sucked outwards. I've been near a small one before and it was similar. It was interesting whatever it was for about 20 seconds.

yep, im over by Millerville and I was wondering if a tornado was near by. Very strong wind

There was rotation found along Highway 190 heading into Denham Springs. I think that’s what prompted the local tornado warning.

I'm off South Harrells Ferry so same area. It was loud enough that my wife paused the TV and asked me what that was
I even had our fireplace making a weird arse noise when it started. The chimney flue is probably open.

I’m in Denham just off 190. Winds just got extremely strong and variable
