Starkville area

I was driving around that area earlier this week. Crazy the amount of tornado/storm damage from recent or few years past. East Ms would be a good place to start selling storm shelters....if they weren't so poor anyway.

My friend issued that warning.

Tell him I beat him to it and he should have put a confirmed tag on it.

How serious these warnings coming from the west through Limestone into Madison county?

Serious enough I think to at least be ready to get to a safe space. There is nothing on the ground at the moment, but it can happen quick. The wind will be a problem, too. It shouldn't last long once it gets to you.

We've gotten close to 4 inches of rain in the last 24 hours locally. Lots of flooding in Eastern Kentucky again.

Now the temp is going to drop and we'll have snow tomorrow, again on Tuesday/Wednesday, and apparently Thursday as well.

Over. This. shite.

Whew......it is pushing through our area now. Decent wind, but no rotation for us. Pretty good lighting.

This is easily one of the worst squall lines we’ve had in a while.

Normally storms don't wake me up, but it looks like the 4th of July outside. The winds and thunder were loud af 20 mins ago here in Madisonville.

So I just moved onto Little Rock and don’t really know what to expect for tornado season lived in south Louisiana most of my life and did college in North Louisiana. Just really don’t know what to expect that’s different from Louisiana any input?

That was fricking nutso in the Birmingham area about thirty minutes ago. Only lasted a few minutes but I thought for sure a small tornado was rolling through.

See about getting a tornado shelter if you don’t already have one (or a basement), besides that just be weather aware. There’s not much more you can do than that imo
