That one may reach populated areas of the S and SW suburbs of STL if it continues. Festus, MO is a city of ~13K pop.

The storms in north Mississippi and SW Tennessee are trying. Most of them have little hooks or appendages on them.

If you’re the downvoter, you’re putting in work. Gonna have to work even harder as this outbreak unfolds. There will be lots of posts to downvote.

Looks like this junk will get here around midnight, same as Sunday night. Not great.

Don't like the way this discrete cell coming into Tennsippibama looks on radar right now. Hopefully it doesn't continue to strengthen bc it has that look about it

In west Little Rock. Been crazy windy all day, and super warm and muggy. Looks like NEA is gonna get it later.

The other thread on this same apocalyptic storm wasn't good enough??

I created the other thread. But since the areas hit by weather changes fast I can’t keep it updated enough during work because I think they throttle my usage. And I post in other threads. The title needs updated for fast changing weather and mine was misleading as it covered OK and TX/Kansas yet weather moved east.

In fact the OP here asked me to update mine rather than start a new thread which was pretty respectful of him. Its sporadic when I can get on here so its better that someone can update title as severe weather moves around.

There are lots of people who read this board not even members. There is a great coalition of posters who are very tuned into weather events and use this as one stop shopping rather than go to many sites to get same info.

The weather threads are some of the best threads here. Its helpful to many. Maybe not you and thats fine, but you are spending extra time just to bitch about them.

Good thing about threads on posting boards, they are either worthy and stay on front or they fall off. Weather threads here always stay on front because they get high usage.

But the real kicker - a person is not required to click on a thread. Holy cow thats novel. I mean its so easy to not click on a thread you aren’t interested in. Isn’t that what makes posting boards great, the ability to have free will and choose. What a concept.

We've got a mess going on right now. Warnings all up and down the line and out in front.

Fortunately the two storms north of Memphis don’t look impressive on velocity at this point.

It’s 84 degrees outside and muggy. Looks like another hour or so before anything starts happening here.

On the bright side, tornadoes are the least of your concerns in Memphis

It will probably take a bit for those Mempis storms to really get going as they move north.

New storm near Sardis, MS just went warned. It doesn’t have anything to the south of it to cut off inflow. Definitely worth watching.
