Let's be honest. Race plays a part in valuation of property values. It's a fact.
However in most cases, neighbors couldn't give two shits about your skin color so long as your a good person/neighbor and don't cause problems.
However, when you are talking section 8, odds are whoever moves in (white, black, hispanic, whatever) is probably of low class and will not bring anything positive to that neighborhood.
Only reason I would ever care is because section 8 would seriously devalue any property in that area. It's a fact and you can't deny that.
