I do doubt she was trying to hurt the other player as much as she didnt worry about it if she did. She wanted the call.
At all costs. I don't think it was intent to injure, but if she got injured then it was worth it.

A coach or a parent has to see this and pull her aside and quell it. A high five as she is leaving the field by a coach does the opposite.

It is one thing to flip a switch and become a competitor between the lines. It's another entirely to flip a switch and not give a f about the game or your opponent between the lines. Be a competitor, don't be malicious. Winning is not worth your character.

Looked like that strike out was the third out too.

I think the 3rd out was when the portly ump called the runner on 3rd out due to interference.

We are on the same team here so let’s be nice, but are you drunk? Parallel to the line? Dude if that doesn’t hit the batter it’s absolutely going into the 3rd base dugout . Look at the angle she is throwing and where she hits the batter

pride, you can argue all you want, the last angle of the video shows it best. The ball was not going in a dugout. It would have gone much closer down the foul side of the foul line. The batter wears it off the front corner side of her helmet.

By definition of rule, the batter interferes with the throw by being out the box and getting hit. That is the awful nature of the wording of the rule.

I feel like I need to clarify. I doubt she told herself, "im gonna hurt this person if she moves."

I do believe she told herself, "im going to try and get interference called if she moves because I want to win the game and will do whatever it takes to win."

Intentionally trying to hurt someone is different than callous indifference, IMO. Neither is excusable, but there is a difference.

Yes, their ace pitcher was kicked off the team a few weeks ago. She was a stud and probably top 10 pitcher in the state.

Bro. She's a dirty arse player doing dirty tricks trying to scheme up a dirty out. The End. There's no justification of doing this outside the integrity of an honest play. She delayed and baited the runner to step out as a pure bullshite dirty play and then 1000% threw with all her force directly at a players head.

You are correct. Look at her man. Look at her left foot pointed at the fricking on deck circle

Why don’t you go ahead and post the next frame of your angle where she is actually releasing the ball

So the entire team is just full of pieces of shite?

This catcher should join that pitcher on the kicked off the team squad.

The replies to the quotes was a no shite.

The bottom was a reminder to parents that your kids character is worth more than a HS or USSSA game.

This is not limited to just this player or this team, similar plays and moves can observed in various sports. I watched a dad cheer on his son jumping a kid and ripping off the kid's helmet in a lacrosse game. When he was kicked out by the official the dad's response was " They're just a bunch of pussies that can't handle a man's game."

My message was simple, parents need to do better.

pride, you are wrong. you can talk yourself into circles all you want. i can throw a ball anywhere with a toe being pointed somewhere. She side stepped back a bit to make it appear more in line at the last moment to re-torque her throw more down the foul line.

Is this throw going more towards third or more towards the dugout

There isnt anyone here trying to justify anything. At least I am not. I know the kid and have coached her. She is very difficult to coach. However, if you want a player to be intense, she is your girl. The line between intensity and dirty play was crossed here. The ump should have thrown her out and certainly not called the batter out, by the spirit or letter of the rule, IMO.

My point was intentionally trying to hurt someone versus being reckless and not caring if someone got hurt are not the same thing. Thats all im saying.

Bro. I don't know why people bother to argue with you. You are using the worst angle and lazily looking at it. Her arm action was way more toward down the line more so than your video is leading to believe. You can see her arm action angle in the below picture you requested of the next frame. Body angled to get behind the batter a bit but throw was nowhere near going to the dugout.

again. you are wrong.
