Why does he get to wear a hood? He should see it happening as his victims saw.

My preference was always public hanging. It does the young'uns some good to see what happens.

Attended a lot of public hangings when you were a young'un?

I thought Utah only had firing squads, when did SC change their procedure?

He was convicted for brutality beating his in-laws to death by a baseball bat. Maybe he should get the same treatment.
cruel and unusual punishment is against the Constitution

Appeals.
Also: List of cases where people were exonnerated after being put on death row
For the very small percentage of people that are exonerated, a Democrat President will come along and pardon 30+ in one fail swoop of pieces of shite on death row that absolutely deserve to be beaten to death.
This is a battle of good and evil. There is far more evil in the world that never receives the justice it is due.
Even this example, getting shot in the heart 24 years after the fact of what he did to the victims IS NOT JUSTICE.
Justice would be allowing family members of the victims to beat this piece of shite to death with a baseball bat within a month of conviction so that minimal taxpayer dollars are spent keeping this motherfricker alive.

He chose firing squad over lethal injection

I wish I could watch it.

He does not wish to inflict that pain on his family, the witnesses, or the execution team. But, given South Carolina’s unnecessary and unconscionable secrecy, Brad is choosing as best he can," his lawyer said
He killed his girls friends parents with a baseball bat and wants to talk about “not wanting to inflict pain on his family”….they should shoot him in the knees first, then the arms, then the gut and then go take a very long lunch before coming back to reload.

Yea my choice would be something other than firing squad lol

Hopefully they miss the kill shot a few times just so it hurts a lil more.

Babies aren’t killing parents with baseball bats.
Sheesh

I'm pro-life and anti-death penalty. That doesn't mean that I think the guy deserves to live. I'd be okay if someone took him out via vigilante justice, I'm just philosophically opposed to the government having the power to kill it's own citizens.
Anyway, do you not see how someone would be opposed to an innocent child being killed, but okay with a convicted murdered being killed? I can definitely understand that perspective

Does his death justify the government wrongfully executing others?
The number I always hear is 4% wrongfully convicted. That’s too high for state sanction killings in my opinion. And with all the appealing, I’m not sure the death penalty even saves money. For those reasons, I’m against it but certainly understand the pro death penalty side because of how emotionally charged heinous crimes can be. You just have to make sure you have the right guy and sometimes departments are under such pressure to solve these crimes, they fudge evidence. Like you said, it’s a slippery slope

Sigmon says he prefers the firing squad because he was worried the electric chair would "cook him alive."
He also rejected the lethal injection option because it took previous inmates over 20 minutes to pass away.
Did his victims get a choice in their matter of death? Why should he?
