South Africa has produced many very good Heavyweight Boxers over the years. Guys like Corrie Sanders, Gerrie Coetzee, Francois Botha, Pierre Coetzer, Kallie Knoetze, etc. These guys were tough as nails and would fight to the very end win or lose.

I can see you have never talked to people that have hired them to work on the farm.

A lot of white south africans come to the MS Delta for migrant farm work. The are hard working and you can just turn them loose to complete task quickly with no supervision.

Actually haven’t met many that do. They have a lot of the same opinions about black culture but the people I know from Mississippi drop hard Rs way more often than they do

I’ve had mixed results. There’s good eggs and bad, but the South Africans tend to be a little inconsistent vs Hispanics, which is why we continue to hire Hispanics only.
The crew that harvests our crops hire South Africans. My experience with them is they are usually pretty sharp, mechanically inclined, and willing to work long hours. But they also tend to be know-it-all’s, harder on equipment, and will leave in the middle of the night in a heartbeat.
I also have seen that some of their overly niceness and gratitude can be disingenuous and wanes over time.
