Is this somehow related to a tribute band masquerading as Lynyrd Skynyrd selling whiskey at Oak Point grocery store yesterday?

The amount charged to the venues causes the BS. So then they, charge the food vendors higher amounts and the food vendors charge the customers high prices.

It’s stupid all the way around and it kills a fun time.

You've never been to there. Walking from "close to the exit" is a 1/2 mile or more from the entrance.

Exactly. Everyone complaining about inflation and tariffs, but for some reason they pay the higher prices anyway.

If you really don't like it, stop spending your money. Pretty simple.

People need to educate themselves on the concept of "demand destruction".

They charged high prices for food and beer and such? Well, No shite Sherlock. Who doesn't these days? Ever bought a beer and a hot dog at the Dome for a Saint's game after you've already been gouged for your ticket? Much less a mixed drink

Think all those entertainers like Kid Rock showed up and played for free?

You mean the Livingston Parish “fairgrounds” could not handle this?

Why not? Do you still have a warrant there?

You’ve obviously never had to reconcile “the drawer” nor make the deposits at the bank for a business.

His ankle monitor would keep going off. Probably catch a parole violation.

My son went on Saturday. Had a parking pass and went right in and parked. Left when it was over on Saturday night and pulled right out and came home. No issues and he said traffic wasn't bad at all. They had a blast as well.
