Sound of fireworks in Shreveport?

What's going on in downtown Shreveport? In South Highlands and can hear what sounds like a fireworks show coming from downtown direction. It's either fireworks or Allendale Is having a war, which is a possibility

I heard something similar here in MS last night...sounded like a half hour of fireworks off in the distance. I never did figure out what that was.

Grand finale went off a few minutes ago. Sounded like a good one. Just not sure why there was a huge fireworks show on May 21st.

Yes it was fireworks @ First Bossier...I was there, great show. They've done it for the past 3 years now to basically kick of the start of summer break

I heard it to in West Monroe and someone told me it was a firework show at ULM from some festival. I can't believe y'all heard that shite in Shreveport too. What the hell.
