A great number of hospitals are worried about bottom line and volume. They are just one cog in the dysfunctional wheel. All resources are stretched too thin and unfortunately the patient suffers. It's not about curing, it's about extending life (repeat customers).

I work in healthcare.

I lost my wife at way too young an age & I literally appreciate her more & more as time passes. Learned something from a friend who lost his wife early, too. He picks one day in their marriage, a holiday, b.day, or just a regular day that stood out & he relives it with her as he falls asleep. Calls it his "going to spend time with her". May sound sick to some, but that couple was something else when it came to their marriage & love for each other. And it is working for me, now, as well.

That is the furthest thing from sick. That is awesome. Can I ask what happened?

m just glad I am in remission and gained 20 pounds back. If it weren't for my family I'd likely be dead. That is no exaggeration. I didn't want to live. Thankfully they helped and stayed on the doctors asses to biopsy and do more strenuous tests.

Sorry bro. I had that as well and years of shite. And a oncoming cancer diagnosis from it lead to my colon being removed. Mine stayed with me through all it.

Don't let it Jade you for the future. If the flare-ups get unreal Houston Methodist gastros are awesome and their colorectal surgeons are amazing.

Get a bidet as well. Put that fire out. Make your life great again ??

True though. Something to be said for the fine line between privacy and loneliness.

More to her though is patience with our son. Especially as a baby. Women are just wired to deal with babies. I don't see how she did it. Especially those years where she is the babies only "friend" and the kid is constantly up her arse. The child will tolerate you for an hour or so, but then is crying for mom. Not saying a dad can't do it or children won't adapt in a single dad situation. But if it's a standard mom and dad unit, the baby wants momma.

I was prescribed Hydrocodone.

That was a big no no. I have no problems with Ibuprofen though or Tylenol.

Humira is a solid choice for stopping even mild crohns disease in its track.

Also, low dose naltrexone and even mastic gum.

Its the additives and Crap they put in food in my opinion that causes an imbalance in gut flora.

Plus most grains are doused in Roundup before harvest. Even organic foods are susceptible.

GMOS would be fine if it were not for the roundup. I believe that thoroughly. I've met kids as young as 10 with crohns. Ridiculous. I hope you have success.

Hard work at her job. No matter the occupation, it was "balls to the wall" with her. I criticized her several times for the amount of energy she put into her job considering what she was getting paid but after 18 years of marriage I now notice she approaches most things in her life that way.

That is a good thing.

Man, I sympathize with you brother. But, life serves all of us a shite sandwich at one point or another and the only way we become better people is by enduring it without allowing it to negatively define who we are. Try to keep your head up and God bless man...
